spirit-free ain't spirit-less: seedlip plants a living lounge!

We’ve got a new in-between-seminars experience for Chicago Style attendees this year! Our friends from Seedlip are planting a Living Lounge just off the Ace Hotel gallery, and they’ve invited some of our favorite bartenders from around town to create and serve Seedlip cocktails throughout the week.

And a Living Lounge is just the place to experience this non-alcoholic distilled spirit. Seedlip is an ode to the wild and natural world, with ingredients harvested and individually cold macerated, distilled and blended. Founder Ben Branson — equipped with a copper still and copy of The Art of Distillation — continues his family’s 300-year farming ancestry and is aiming to change the way the world drinks.

Each day of Chicago Style panel discussions and seminars, you’ll find the signature botanical in one of Seedlip’s signature expressions being highlighted through an interactive essential oil workshop, a massage station (!!!), and one of these original spiritfree creations by Julia Momose of Bar KumikoDavid Mor of Cindy’s, and Vincent Bright of Lost Lake!
